Brenna Fender has been a professional freelance writer since 2000, when she got her start writing for Clean Run, Front and Finish, and UKC Bloodlines magazines. She has been working for Clean Run since 2004 and also spent 9 years as a writer, editor, and social media manager for USDAA.com.During her time with USDAA, she received several Dog Writers Association of America Maxwell Award nominations for her own articles and for editing the USDAA newsletter, The Overview (which won one Maxwell for Best Electronic Newsletter).
Brenna is currently the Associate Editor and Special Projects Assistant for Clean Run. She writes articles for, edits, and wrangles writers for Clean Run magazine (www.cleanrun.com), manages social media for Clean Run, and performs various other duties that may include marketing, promotion, and occasional online singing.
Brenna also writes flash fiction and has received two Honorable Mention awards in Women on Writing flash fiction contests (http://wow-womenonwriting.com/67-FE1-Summer15Contest.html and http://wow-womenonwriting.com/68-FE1-Fall15Contest.html).
